When to Request Computer Repair

Do you constantly feel like your computer is slowing down? Having trouble with programs crashing or other software errors? This might be the perfect time to get your system repaired. The longer you wait, the more problems will pile up and make it even harder to fix everything. Here are some signs that it's time for a computer repair:

- Programs freeze up repeatedly while running

- Your computer starts shutting down on its own without warning

- Your computer starts making strange noises

- You can't access certain programs or files

- The computer is running very slowly

- You can't connect to the internet

As you can see, there are a number of things that could be wrong with your computer. If this is happening, don't wait any longer to call for help!

Why it's best to Leave Computer Repair to the Experts

Computers are amazing pieces of technology, but they can also be frustrating and complicated. When something goes wrong with our computer, it's often difficult to know what to do about it. This is especially true if we're not familiar with the inner workings of a computer. In these cases, it's best to leave computer repair to the experts.

Computer technicians have years of experience and training in repairing computers. They know how to troubleshoot problems and fix them quickly and efficiently. Trying to repair a computer on your own can often lead to more problems and frustration. Plus, you may end up damaging your computer further or even voiding your warranty.

Here are a few more reasons why you should leave computer repair to the experts:

1. Little Problems Almost Always End Up Becoming Big Problems

People often don't take computer repair seriously until it's too late. By then, the potential issues with your computer has become a big headache and requires a lot of time and money to fix. That's why they need to pay attention when these problems show up in the beginning by hiring a reliable computer repair service.

2. Before You Have Repairs Done on Your Computer, Consider The Problems You're Facing

As many computer repair people will tell you, "we're not mind readers, we'll need to know roughly what is wrong to be able to fix it".  Be very specific with your diagnosis, or you will get an inaccurate quote, or worse, not be able to explain it at all.

Document all of the problems that you're having and explain them in detail when you contact a repair specialist. This way they know exactly what is wrong with your computer before they take it into their store for repair work.

3. All computers Have an Expiration Date

Every computer has a lifespan, and at some point it will reach the end of its life. When that time comes, you'll need to decide whether to repair or replace your computer.

Repairing a computer is often cheaper and less time-consuming than replacing it, so you'll want to think about whether it's worth fixing the problems that your computer is having. If they can be repaired, you should definitely hire an expert to do so. On the other hand, if the repairs would cost more than just buying a new one, it might be time to part with your old friend and find yourself a new one.

How Our Computer Repair Process Works

With our budget-friendly computer repair, most jobs are accepted on a Flat Rate basis between $99 and $199, plus parts. All work is performed on a first come-first serve basis, typically fully diagnosed and completed in 24-48 hours, depending on the nature of the problem with your computer.

*Expedited service is available for emergencies.

  1. Every in-person service job starts with a comprehensive 24-hours diagnostic procedure and detailed analysis. This assures that we are not attempting a software fix when a hardware repair is required and allows our technicians quick access to perform our work. We never replace a part unless it fails either a diagnostic or practical test. Next, we perform a full software assessment to determine if there is Operating System corruption, your state of security patches, network topology, if your computer has been prone to potential lapses in security, file structure, or vulnerabilities to viruses; software corruption or software issues, or if malware or internal hardware issues are present. Only then do we go about proving and documenting a solution.

  2. If necessary, once our diagnostic services are complete, we communicate with the customer regarding the need for a part. All jobs awaiting parts are completed on the same day in which the part is received. Completed jobs receive an 8-point Quality Control check before the equipment is returned to the customer. Customers are also encouraged to perform their own practical test at our Quality Control Station before leaving us.

  3. Finally, we provide a checklist and specific instructions for each customer to perform when they place equipment back into service. There are no surprises, and if you have any trouble, simply give us a call. Yes, we answer the phone because we really care!
